Delhi Govt Launches Udyog Mitra Portal to Simplify Approvals, Services for Businesses and MSMEs

New Delhi, Sep 29 (KNN) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday launched the Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal, a single-window digital platform aimed at simplifying government approvals and services for traders, entrepreneurs, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), start-ups, industrial units and investors.

The portal currently integrates more than 50 services from 15 departments, with the Delhi government planning to expand it to more than 100 services across 21 departments by next month. 

The platform is expected to benefit more than eight lakh traders in the Capital, including MSMEs, according to officials.

Single Platform For Government Approvals

Integrated with the national single-window system, the portal will allow businesses to access Central and Delhi government approvals through a common digital interface.

Users can identify the approvals required for their businesses, submit applications, track their status and communicate with departments through the platform.

The portal's single sign-on (SSO) facility will allow users to access services across departments through one login, while the Common Application Form (CAF) is intended to reduce repeated submission of basic information.

The ‘Know Your Approvals’ feature will guide entrepreneurs on permissions and approvals required for their proposed businesses. Applicant dashboards will allow users to track applications, while departmental dashboards will help officials monitor applications and service delivery.

The portal will also provide FAQs, manuals and other guidance on procedures, along with a grievance-redressal facility for application-related issues.

More Services Planned

Industries Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said the portal would provide access to licences, no-objection certificates and other business-related services through a single ID.

He highlighted that 15 departments and boards had been integrated so far and more industry- and logistics-related services would be added as the platform expands.

The government has also launched a helpline for traders and entrepreneurs to register grievances related to the single-window system and initiate their resolution.
