DIC to organise Machinery Expo Kerala 2018

New Delhi, Jan 11 (KNN) Eyeing at handholding the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the region, the Department of Industries and Commerce will be organizing the second edition of 'Machinery Expo Kerala 2018’.

The 3-Day long expo is to start from January 12 and extend till January 15 at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium.

Speaking about the upcoming event, K.N.Satheesh, Director, Industries and Commerce informed that this years edition will showcase latest technologies with an emphasis on machines and machine tools and automation technologies.

Also the CNS machines and systems and advanced processing and packaging machinery are to feature at the expo.

The MSMEs involved in manufacturing of machinery as well as suppliers in various sectors are participating in the expo, he said.

“The expo will act as a one-stop shop to display the latest manufacturing solutions”.

Along with MSMEs and suppliers, different research organizations  will be attending the event.

Kerala houses a fair share of machinery manufacturing MSMEs. These units manufacture products for different sectors including agriculture, food processing. etc. (KNN/DA)
