Electronics Manufacturing Cluster, Seafood Park and Gems & Jewellery Park to come up in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Nov 28 (KNN) In a move which would boost investment in the MSME sector in Odisha, State Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has laid the foundation stone of Electronics Manufacturing Cluster, Infovalley, Seafood Park and Gems and Jewellery Park to be set up in Twin Cities.

In a tweet, Patnaik said, “Electronics Manufacturing Cluster, Seafood and Jewellery parks will turn #MakeInOdisha into reality & chart new era in Odisha’s growth story.”

The electronics manufacturing cluster is coming up at Infovalley, Janla under Jatni block with an investment opportunity of over Rs 1000 crore. The state government expects it to generate one lakh direct/indirect employment opportunities.

The Seafood Park to come up at Deras will have an investment potential of Rs 500 crore and  is likely to provide 3 lakh direct/indirect employment opportunities. It would have advanced facilities and infrastructure.

The Gems and Jewellery Park, which is coming up at Ramadaspur in Cuttack, will have an investment potential of nearly Rs 700 crore and can generate 60, 000 direct/indirect employment opportunities. (KNN Bureau)
