Entrepreneurial skill development programme on computer accounting with tally

Cuttack, Jan 2 (KNN) MSME-Development Institute, Cuttack has organised an entrepreneurial skill development programme (ESDP) on computer accounting with tally to upgrade skills of MSME entrepreneurs.

The programme covering training across 60 disciplines was held on December 30, 2014 in Puri.

“The basic objective is to provide training for skill upgradation and to equip them with better and improved technological skills of production,” said a release.

Under ESDP, comprehensive training programmes are organized to upgrade skills of prospective entrepreneurs, existing workforce and also develop skills of new workers and technicians of MSEs by organising various technical cum skill development training programmes.

The primary objective of MSME-DI, Cuttack is to promote and develop MSMEs in the state by rendering various services like techno, economic and managerial consultancy to the existing as well as prospective entrepreneurs in various sectors.   Such services are provided to sectors such as chemical, food processing, mechanical, metallurgy, leather, electrical and electronics, hosiery, glass and ceramics, industrial management, economics and statistics and ISO consultancy.

The institute renders the above services by way of close coordination with state government, promotional agencies and financial Institutions. It is also actively engaged in the vendor development process and ancillary development and in this respect this office organizes industrial exhibitions and vendor development programmes with mother plants, PSUs and large enterprises.
