Entries called for 7th edition of Plasticon Awards

New Delhi, Dec 1 (KNN) With a view to felicitating excellence and innovation in the field of plastics, Plastindia Foundation has called for entries for 7th edition of Plasticon Awards which are among the most coveted in the plastics industry for practicing professionals and students.
The awards function will take place as a curtain raiser to the 9th International Plastics Exhibition and Conference scheduled to be held from February-5-10, 2015 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
“The Plasticon Awards have been a symbol of excellence and innovation in Plastics. The Awards are sponsored by industry stalwarts and cover a wide range of activity including industry, academic, research, entrepreneurship, etc. The winners and runners of each category are selected by an independent panel of jurists, who again, are achievers and pioneers in their respective fields,” a notification said.
The 7th Edition of Plasticon Awards will cover the entire spectrum of the Indian Plastics Industry and will be given across 25 different award categories, including 3 new categories for Indian participants and 4 for international participants.
The awards list covers almost the entire field of plastics, from entrepreneur leadership to fastest growing organization to the best performing organization to contributions to environment and to those individuals contributing substantially to the plastics industry and also students - who will grow to be future leaders in this exciting field of plastics.
The Plasticon Awards entries will be screened by jury members, who are well known experts and stalwarts in a variety of fields related to plastics.
Last date for receiving entries is December-31, 2014. The awards are sponsored by leading industry players and Institutions. (KNN/ES)
