Jammu, Jan 7 (KNN) Employees Provident Fund organization (EPFO), Jammu with Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) on Thursday organised an awareness programme for employers on the implementation of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojna (ABRY) to incentivize creation of new employment opportunities in EPFO registered establishments.

While welcoming the officials of the EPFO, Jammu & BBIA president Lalit Mahajan in his presidential remarks appreciated the steps taken by provident fund body for conducting such seminar to educate the industrial sector in respect on the implementation ABRY.

''EPFO scheme is very beneficial for giving employment to new employees and re-employing persons from low wage brackets who lost employment during COVID-19 pandemic,'' Mahajan said.

While speaking on the occasion, K Prashant, Regional PF Commissioner, EPFO, appreciated the steps by the BBIA to educate the industrial fraternity and requested the unit holders to contact EPFO department in case of any query.
