FOSMI to hold session with WBFC on MSME schemes next week

Kolkata, June 2 (KNN) The Federation of Small & Medium Industries, West Bengal (FOSMI) is organising an interactive session with West Bengal Financial Corporation (WBFC) on June 7 regarding various MSME schemes offered by WBFC.

The meeting will be held at FOSMI conference room starting at 3 pm where the discussion will involve direct participation from WBFC officials and the MSME sector.

WBFC provides financial assistance on easy terms to MSMEs in the form of long term loan for setting up new project and/or modernization/expansion of existing project.

It also works in close coordination with the Government of West Bengal, the union government, banks, and other financial institutions at all levels.

As per official data the credit lending for businesses in the MSME sector of West Bengal has seen an increase of 5.74 per cent in the first six months of FY22 as compared to FY21.  (KNN Bureau)
