Hyderabad, Nov 4 (KNN) The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) with the support of Government of Telangana, is going to organise 3rd certificate course in ‘export import management’ from 5th December 2020.

In the present pandemic situation, many countries are looking at realigning their trading strategies and diversifying their import. India must leverage it by emerging as an alternative destination for sourcing cost-effective, quality products. This is an opportune time for India to better engage with the world and boost its export performance by strengthening its domestic manufacturing.

Considering the need of the hour, FTCCI will commence the admission enrolment of its third cohort from this week onwards. The entire curriculum will be covered in 12 to 14 sessions. The Course is developed in keeping with the State’s growing demand and requirement for trained and knowledgeable personnel in the field of foreign trade.

Telangana state is ranked second in the Export Preparedness Index 2020 among the landlocked States and possess lot potential to enhance exports in both merchandise and service sector.

The entire curriculum has been curated with the support of Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and Telangana State Trade Promotion Corporation ltd. (TSTPC) to help participants systematically understand the export-import ecosystem which includes foreign trade policy, documentation, Custom Procedures, logistics, trade finance, foreign exchange and risk management.

The first cohort successfully concluded training 57 delegates (Oct 2019) and second cohort concluded training 55 delegates (Feb 2020). The participants represented sectors such as Manufacturing, e-commerce, Pharma, Service, Power, Agro and Food Processing, Defence & Aerospace, Engineering, , Iron & Steel, Trading & Distribution, Granites, Paper and others.

With a view to continue our endeavor in imparting knowledge and skill, FTCCI with support of State Government of Telangana announces its third Certificate Course in Export Import Management which will be conducted by handpicked highly qualified faculty from various fraternities such as Trade and Industry, Financial Institutions and Government departments.

The course will be conducted in the state of art infrastructure facilities available at the Federation House and a few classes will be held virtually.
