New Delhi, Mar 9 (KNN) The Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate Technology Centre at Visakhapatnam and Bhopal setup under TCSP along with three extension centres and 7 Udyam Express on March 10.

Along with MSME Minister, Minister of state for MSME Pratap Chandra Sarangi will also be present on the occasion, said a mail by DC MSME.

''The Ministry of MSME, through the Development Commissioner (DC-MSME) is implementing Technology Centre Systems Program (TCSP) to establish 15 new Technology Centres (TC) and upgrade the 18 existing TCs,'' it added.

The upcoming Technology Centres will provide assistance to industry predominantly MSMEs in General Engineering, Automotive, Fragrance & Flavour and ESDM sectors and are being equipped with  multiple cutting edge manufacturing technologies, such as  CNC Machines,  3D Manufacturing/Additive Manufacturing, Laser / Ultrasonic machining, Robotics and Process Automation, Precision measurement / Metrology equipment,  state-of-the art Electronics Manufacturing Facilities, Calibration and Testing Facilities for Electronic System Design and Manufacturing,

With the objective to improve access to technology for MSMEs at grass root level MoMSME is establishing Extension Centres and also reaching out to MSMEs in the remote areas through its “Udyam Express” initiative.
