Goa’s Startup Cell Join Hands With GCCI To Mentor Startup In State

Panaji, Oct 27 (KNN) The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) has signed an MoU with the government’s Startup and IT Promotion Cell, Govt of Goa to mentor and promote startups in state.

The primary aim of this collaboration is to connect startups with various sectors of the local economy.

Rohan Khaunte, Goa’s information technology minister said, “I believe that the fusion of innovation and established industries is key to unlocking new frontiers of progress in Goa. I look forward to witnessing the transformative power of this forum as it ushers in a new era of collaboration, innovation, and prosperity.”

To help startups find value, GCCI brought together leaders from the hospitality sector who spoke about some of the challenges which could be solved using technology.

Stakeholders from the sector highlighted various ways in which they could collaborate with startups and as a takeaway, it was agreed that a list of problems facing the industry could be documented for startups to work on and find solutions.
