Gujarat power corp calls for wind mill consultants

Gandhinagar, May 22 (KNN) Gujarat Power Corporation Ltd (GPCL) has invited proposals from consultants for their wind mill projects.
The wind mill consultant will be required to perform primary assessment, preparation of detailed project report, preparation of tender document and bid evaluation services for wind mill project at Gujarat Solar Park, according to an official notice.
The scope of work would be preliminary assessment and study by collection and analysis of energy generation and wind data for existing wind turbines at Charanka solar park site.
The consultant will conduct an analysis of the master plan- Charanka for possibility of land availability and grid infrastructure for wind power at Charanka solar park.
The micro-siting of WTGs for economic generation of wind power will be done by the consultant, considering shadow impact on solar power generation and availability of space.
Earlier, GPCL had carried out various projects in power sectors, having commissioned 25 MW wind mills and 5 MW solar power projects in Gujarat.
GPCL is working towards increasing its share in renewable energy sector projects by setting-up wind mills in the area of Gujarat Solar Park located at Village Charanka in Patan district of Gujarat. (KNN)
