Haryana developing software to help industries

New Delhi, Apr 23 (KNN)  In a bid to make procedural functions easier the Department of Industries and Commerce in Haryana is seeking services of IT companies for development and implementation of a web based software solution for regulation of industrial establishments and societies in the state.
 
“The selected bidder shall design, develop and implement the solution in addition to providing data migration, operations, training, hand holding and maintenance support for a period of at least two years, after which the Department plans to create necessary in house capacity to take over the continued IT operations,” said an official statement.
 
The proposed software solution will be hosted out of the Haryana State Data Centre (HSDC) located in the state capital.
                                                                
Further, the successful bidder will be required to administer installed solutions in conformity with the state’s IT policies, fix software defects, enhance the software as per an agreed plan and provide other such technical support and hand holding necessary for the smooth functioning of the overall solution covered under the scope of the project, in conformity with the agreed performance criteria.
 
“The core functionality of e-filing and the associated back office processing related to the e-form should be implemented within a period of 26 to 30 weeks,” it said. (KNN)
