Haryana development authority to lease exhibition centre at Faridabad

Faridabad, Jun 11 (KNN)  The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has decided to lease out an exhibition cum convention centre situated on 1.92 acres of land here.
 
In this regard, HUDA has invited bids from industrial and business associations for operation and maintenance of the project on public-private-partnership mode.
 
Associations which have experience of conducting annual general meetings, film festivals, fashion shows, exhibitions on art and culture etc or parties with experience in hospitality sector having experience in organizing exhibitions cum conventions will be eligible for the project, said an official notification.
 
The selected private sector participant will have to take care of marketing, operation as well as maintenance of project facility. They will also be required to recover the investment by earning revenues through various revenue streams during the concession period of 15 years, the notification added.
 
Faridabad is a fast growing Industrial, residential and institutional area. With more and more corporates setting up their base in the city, a large number of medium to large scale seminars and conferences takes place there.  (KNN)
