Haryana gears up for Surajkund craft fair

New Delhi, Nov 23 (KNN)  The Surajkund Mela Authority will showcase work from different sections of the industry in the forthcoming  28th Surajkund International Craft Mela to be held in Faridabad from February 1-15, 2014.

The Haryana tourism department is seeking proposals from various agencies to be service providers for props management during the fifteen day long exhibition. It will be appointing consultants to look after different departments.

Surajkund mela is a colourful traditional craft festival of India held during the spring season, every year.

The exhibition is visited by lovers of arts and crafts from all over the world. Traditional craftsmen including artists, painters, weavers and sculptors from all parts of the country participate in this annual celebration.

 It also includes a food festival covering some of the popular cuisines from different parts of the country. (KNN/ST)
