Haryana govt increases VAT on diesel to 12.07%

Chandigarh, July 16 (KNN) The Haryana Government has increased the Value Added Tax (VAT) on diesel from 12.07 per cent to 16.4 per cent with immediate effect yesterday.
 
With surcharge, the effective VAT hike on diesel would come to 17.22 per cent.
 
Last year in November, the VAT on diesel was increased from 9.24 per cent to 12.07 per cent in the state. (KNN Bureau)
