Haryana MSEs can approach Facilitation Council for assistance with pending dues

Chandigarh, Nov 24 (KNN)  Registered micro and small enterprises in the state of Haryana that have pending dues from their buyers of over 45 days can now receive assistance from the Haryana Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council.

“The Chapter V of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 (MSMED Act, 2006) facilitates the micro and small enterprises for recovery of their delayed payment from the buyer located anywhere in India. 

“Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, any supplier to a payment dispute may, with regard to any amount due, make a reference to the Haryana Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council for recovery of their delayed payment,” a press notification said today.

In this regard, the facilitation council has asked such enterprises to file their claim application along with copy of SSI registration / Entrepreneur Memorandum Part II, copy of purchase orders, copy of bills and proof of receipt of products received by the buyer etc. 

For further details, MSEs may contact the respective District Industries Centre or Director of Industries and Commerce Haryana, Chandigarh, it said.  (KNN/ES)
