Chandigarh, Mar 5 (KNN) The Haryana Government recently approved a bill which reserved 75 per cent of the private sector jobs with gross salary upto Rs 50,000 per month for the people of the state is facing backlash from the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state as they are gearing up to approach High Court on the same.

Haryana Governor, Satyadeo Narain Arya on Tuesday gave assent to the Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Bill, 2020.

"The Haryana Governor today gave his assent to the Bill entailing 75 per cent reservation in the private sector to job seekers from the state. The government will notify it soon," the CM told reporters at a press conference.

While speaking to KNN India on the same, on Friday, Manesar Industries Welfare Association (MIWA) Vice President, Manmohan Gaind expressed its dissatisfaction and said that such steps will take us back in terms of growth be it a growth of industries, any commercial institution or an enterprise.

''Haryana state will suffer and in the long term Haryana will start losing opportunities to other states because this is a regressive step which is going to affect every industry,'' he said.

Speaking further on the law, Gaind asserted that the law is designed in such a way that one person in the district has all the authority to grant you permission or not to grant you permission.

''This is a black bill for industry and commercial enterprises and we are going to approach the high court against this bill,'' MIWA, Vice President said.

Faridabad IMT Industries Association (FIMTIA), General Secretary, Chander Shekhar Goel too slammed the Haryana government and said that if every state thinks alike and starts employing their people then where will be one country one nation?

''With corruption rife especially at lower level, the new law may provide another tool in the hands of officials to harass industry'', he added.

Geol further went on saying that after this no new factories will be set up in the state with such reservations.

''We need skilled people and we also suggested Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala to work on skill development of the locals which will help them to get jobs,'' he concluded.
