Chandigarh, Mar 4 (KNN) In a move to upgrade industrial infrastructure, the Haryana government will be setting up Composite Logistics Hub at different places in the state. These hubs will be equipped with modern warehouses, rail side warehouses, silos and bonded warehouses.

The hubs will also have inland container depot and are being promoted by the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation (HSWC), to be developed in PPP mode at existing and new locations.

Towards this, HWC has invited proposals from experienced consultancy firms to prepare a comprehensive project report, techno-economic feasibility report, bid document and agreement for creation of the hub.

The corporation is committed to meeting the storage and warehousing needs of agriculture, trade, industry and export-import sectors in the entire state. It has developed the technical capability as well as the requisite financial resilience to take up mammoth projects with its internal resources.

HWC scores very high on all parameters of quality scientific storage in over 50 commodities. Commodity specific preservation measures are adopted both in design of warehouses and the storage services. (KNN/ST)
