Haryana to spend Rs 134 crore on infrastructure at Barwala near Panchkula

Panchkula, Dec 26 (KNN) In a bid to develop industrial estates in the state, the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (HSIIDC) wants to develop infrastructure facilities like road networks, water supply system, drainage, IT, Telecommunications at the fast industrializing district of Barwala near Panchkula at the cost of Rs 134 crore.
 
In this context, HSIIDC has been seeking for agencies, on turnkey basis, for development of infrastructure at proposed Industrial Estate Phase-II, Barwala.
 
HSIIDC has extended and rescheduled the date for sale and opening of the bids till January 16, 2014.
 
This would further lead to more development of infrastructure facilities like - river protection work, horticulture and landscaping, boundary walls, waste water conveyance system etc.
 
Assignment for consultants also includes the work of trial run for three months; defect liability; operation and maintenance for 60 months for civil works; street lighting; and 24 months for electrification.
 
HSIIDC is the nodal agency of Haryana Government to develop Industrial Estates/ Industrial Model Townships and supporting infrastructure in the state.
 
HSIIDC has been active in developing integrated industrial townships and associated industrial infrastructure of different hierarchies. In line with the Industrial Policy of the State to develop Industrial Estate Phase-II, Barwala (Haryana) is proposed to be developed by HSIIDC over an area of about 600 acre.  (KNN Bureau)
