New Delhi, Dec 20 (KNN) Following the state polls in Himachal and Gujarat, the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party is to form government securing the majority seats in the state. The industry comprising of a fair share of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) expect better parameters and easier business in the region.

Talking to KNN, Shailesh Aggarwal, President of Baddi Barootiwala Nalagarh Industries Association(BBNIA) of Himachal said that the industry prefers a non-party alignment and a more pro-government alliance in the state.

However with new government taking charge, Aggarwal said that the MSMEs are hopeful that the government will take into consideration the pending factors including package for attracting investments.

While the region was earlier covered under incentives, the attraction used to flow to the state easily, the industry expects the government to come up with similar roadmaps in order to re-establish the state as an attractive destination for investments.

Also with regard to the GST, the industry will be eyeing at the government to look at the teething issues of the new taxation.

With regard to sector specific concerns, Aggarwal informed that the region houses a fair share of pharma industries.

The sector will surely expect better coordination between departments not that there is a new government in place. Also the ease of doing business is another thing that the industry eagerly looks at, Aggarwal informed. (KNN/DA)
