Himachal Skill Dev Corpn to offer free PG and Diploma Courses in IT sector

Hamirpur, June 20 (KNN) The Himachal Pradesh skill development corporation (HPKVN) has launched free PGDCA and DCA courses in Hamirpur.

These courses have been started through the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) at Himtech Institute of Information Technology.

Naveen Sharma, state coordinator of the HPKVN inaugurated the first course.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony Sharma said  “60 seats each have been allotted for PGDCA and DA courses and for Short Term Computer Course (CCCA).”

The eligibility for PGDCA in Himtech Institute of Information Technology would be plus two for graduation and DA. 

More than eight crore rupees have been spent on the free courses being conducted under the skill development scheme in Hamirpur district, whereas more than 175 crores have been spent in the entire state.  (KNN Bureau)
