HP govt encourages manufacturers to set up units in Medical Devices Park, Nalagarh

Solan, April 27 (KNN) The Himachal Pradesh Government has invited medical devices manufacturers to set up anchor and allied units in the upcoming Medical Devices Park (MDP) at Nalagarh in Solan district.

To attract manufacturing units, the state government has decided to offer a slew of liberal incentives such as exemption on stamp duty, registration fee and electricity duty.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has also guaranteed fiscal support to the units with an interest subvention at 7 per cent limited to Rs 51 lakh per year.

In view of other utilities there will be zero charges on water, warehouse and park maintenance.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali is the knowledge partner and ICMR – Centre for Innovation and Bio-Design (CIBioD), Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh is the technical partner for the proposed common infrastructure facilities in the park consisting of 3D Design, rapid prototyping, tooling tab etc.
Interested units are expected to submit an EOI (experience of company (in years) dirindus-hp@govi.in with all the required details. (KNN Bureau)
