ICC to hold 3rd MSME summit in Guwahati under Make in India
New Delhi, Dec 21 (KNN) In an attempt to facilitate growth among the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the region under the government’s flagship Make in India program, the Indian Chamber of Commerce will hold a MSME summit in Guwahati on 22nd December.
The summit is being organized with an aim ensure a multi-level approach to assist the micro, small and medium enterprises.
In order to achieve the outlined aim, the MSMEs will be given information on different themes including export promotion and latest trends in the business environment,
Also the MSMEs will be provided assistance to market their products and services.
The summit will discuss the role of the government in enabling a more MSME friendly ecosystem in the Northeast, the organizers informed in a press release. Also the event is to feature the possibility of ease of doing business in the state along with the flagship Act East Policy of the government.
Financing being a major bottleneck for the MSME sector, dedicated stalls and sessions are to feature the credit options available for the small industries. (KNN/DA)
