Ilkal CMC throws opportunities for small businesses

Bangalore, Jul 18 (KNN) The Municipal Commissioner of City Municipal Council (CMC), Ilkal today has invited bids from small businesses to construct sewerage network in the district of Bagalkot in north Karnataka.

The equipment needed are concrete mixer, vibrator road roller, excavators, crane mounted trucks, lorries, needle vibrators and other machines for execution of civil works.

Further, personnel like project manager, sewerage and sanitary engineers, site engineers, quantity surveyor, highway engineers etc. are needed for the project and are required to complete the work within 18 months.   

Ilkal is a significant city situated in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka.   According to the India census report published in 2011, it has a population of 60, 282 people and the city stretches to across an area of 12.53 sq kms.

Ilkal is also the source of red granite stone which is exported to various parts of India. (GUNJ/KNN)
