Industry associations in Sonipat offer support to foreign companies willing to invest

Sonipat, Oct 20 (KNN) Industrial associations and MSMEs in Sonipat have agreed to provide hand holding to foreign companies which are interested in investing in Haryana.

This proposal was presented to the Indian Ambassadors to seven countries namely China, Italy, Denmark, Paraguay, Zambia, Liberia & Democratic Republic of Congo during their recent to Rai Textile & Allied CFC Pvt Ltd, a cluster in Sonipat.

They were welcomed in presence of Deputy Commissioner of Sonepat Lalit Siwach, Shashikant Additional Director Industries, Haryana & Upender Singh along with team of E&Y from Chandigarh.

Speaking exclusively with KNN, Rakesh Chhabra President of RAI Industries Association said, “The Indian Ambassadors to all the seven countries shared export related information with us and assured to form a WhatsApp group where we will be connected to prospective buyers.”

“We have been suggested to focus on designing part to attract Italian market,” he said.

A Commerce Department of India is already set up in Denmark and MSMEs & exporters are encouraged to take benefit of it.

For the African countries solar batteries, mobiles and home furnishing has been noted as the key export opportunities for Indian businesses.

The programme started with the welcome address by the DC, followed by the presentation of cluster & scope of products that can be exported from Sonipat.

They explained the way products can be exported to the following countries. 

After touring the cluster the Ambassadors visited the small exhibition stall showcasing the products of different companies.  (KNN Bureau)
