Issues related to the industrial sector will be resolved on priority basis, J&K Commerce Min assures SMEs

Jammu, May 12 (KNN) With the view to create a biz-friendly environment in Jammu and Kashmir for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), J&K Minister of Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash, during his visit to Bari Brahmana Industrial Association (BBIA) said that the various issues related to the industrial sector will be resolved on priority basis.
 
While addressing the gathering, the Minister assured to resolve the issues related to the Industrial Sector on priority basis to encourage the entrepreneurs to setup the industrial units in the state which will provide employment to local unemployed youths of the state.
 
 
During the interaction, Lalit Mahajan, President BBIA highlighted the various issues related to the industrial sector like Ease of Doing Business, New Industrial Policy, Extension of Benefit to Industrial sector of J&K under GST Regime, Regular SLC Meeting for the sanction of Incentives, Revival of Sick Industrial Units, Dedicated Feeder for Industrial Power Supply, Upgradation of Existing Infrastructure, Restoration of Central Excise Package of Incentives, Income Tax Holiday etc.
 
The new team of BBIA Office Bearers under the President ship of Lalit Mahajan assumed the charge of BBIA on Monday in the presence of the minister.
 
The newly elected team of BBIA included Senior Vice President Rahul Bansal, Vice President Varun Singla, General Secretary Rakesh Bhat, Secretary Parvinder Singh Jaggi and Treasurer Viraaj Malhotra. The minister congratulated the new office bearers of BBIA. (KNN/ST)
