Jabalpur MSMEs want reduction in property tax and interest rates in term loan, working capital loan

Jabalpur, Apr 3 (KNN) The micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh have urged the government to extend relief measures such as reduction in property tax and term loan and working capital loan.

Madhya Pradesh corona positive cases have hit the 100 mark on Thursday.

Out of the total 100 coronavirus cases in the state, 75 have been reported from Indore, eight from Jabalpur, six from Ujjain, four from Bhopal, two each in Morena, Shivpuri and Gwalior and one from Khargone, health department official said.

Jabalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (JCCI) has urged the government to ask Nagar Nigams to reduce Property tax for 2020-21 by 20%. 

JCCI President Pankaj Maheshwari has said that for MSME to survive, interest rate on term loan and working capital loan can be reduced by 3% for MSMEs.

The staff and labour salary should be allowed by government to 50% of last 11 month average of each employee, said the association.

Further, it asked to charge proportionate fixed charges on number of days lockout was not there in electricity bill and apply no minimum guarantee of electricity units applicable for lockout period. (KNN Bureau)
