Jaipur firm creates helpline for GST queries; says it will help MSMEs in smoother transition

Jaipur, Jan 5 (KNN) Jaipur-based software developer KDK Softwares (I) Pvt Ltd has launched a toll-free helpline number with the purpose to resolve the queries regarding technical and non-technical aspects of migrating to the proposed Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Mohit Bambani, CEO, KDK software told KNN that the helpline will sort out the problems that generate during the registration process by the dealers.

“GST is going to be applicable so accordingly dealers have to migrate to a new sort of system. This helpline will resolve the challenges and queries which will develop during the registration in a procedure to migrate,” said Bambani

According to him it will also bridge the gap between MSMEs and government.

“It will act as a bridge between the MSMEs and the government,” said Mohit Bambani.

During the course of launch of the helpline,Rajeeva Swarup. Principal Secretary – Industry (MSME) Government of Rajasthan, Mohitt Banmbani, CEO, KDK Software and Kapil Goel, Chairman, KDK software were present.

The toll-free helpline number 1800 103 9271 will be available in six languages — English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada and Malayalam. The data shared by the GST portal set up by the government reveals that Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra and Bihar have observed poor-to-average response to the registration drive.

KDK Softwares has volunteered to set up an infrastructure for the purpose and create a bridge between MSMEs and the government.

The company has roped in 50 professionals, including CAs, company secretaries, legal experts, software engineers and domain experts to tackle the queries from SMEs and MSMEs. (KNN/RAS)
