Jammu industrialists appeal Financial Commissioner to expedite SGST reimbursement
Jammu, 26 Nov (KNN) A Delegation of Federation of Industries, Jammu met Atal Dulloo, IAS, Financial Commissioner, Finance Department and other officials from the division regarding various issues related to the Industrial Sector of J&K.
They submitted pre-budget memorandum, which headed by Chairman Lalit Mahajan who is also the Co-Chairman of Federation of Industries, Jammu & President, Bari Brahmana Industries Association.
During the course of discussions, Mahajan pointed out pending issues with the Finance Department in respect of removal of edible oil and soft drinks from the negative list of SRO 63 dated 05-02-2018, said the official release.
He also highlighted on the reimbursement of SGST to local existing industrial units, one time relaxation for filing the time barred GST reimbursement and budgetary support claims by the industrial units as per SRO No. 519/521/63 and 431.
The chairman further emphasized on the request for the extension of Power Amnesty Scheme up to 31-03-2022, Sanction of Budgetary Support claims of Industrial Units engaged in the Roasting of Groundnuts/ Cashew/ Decortications of walnut/Almond by State Tax Department Jammu.
Viraaj Malhotra, Secretary General, Lavinder Singh Puri, Convenor, Federation of Industries, Jammu, P.K. Bhat from Finance Department, Showkat Ajaz Bhat, Commissioner, State Tax Department, Nitu Gupta Additional Commissioner (A&E) State Taxes Department, Jammu, Kishor Singh Chib, Excise Commissioner were also a part of the discussion.
