Jammu industries seek marketing support from Commerce Dept in local purchase

Jammu, Sept 6 (KNN) The industries of Jammu region have asked the Finance, Industries & Commerce Department to provide marketing support in local purchase.

A Delegation of Federation of Industries, Jammu (FOIJ) led by Chairman Lalit Mahajan met Vivek Bhardwaj, IAS Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) recently to discuss the issues faced by the industries.

During the course of discussion issues related to Industries and Finance Department were highlighted for early resolution.

It included Conversion of Lease Holder Rights of Industrial Units into Free Hold, Marketing Support etc, said a press release.

Pending Registration/ Reimbursement Claims with DPIIT under Package of Incentives IDS-2017, Extension of Central Package 2021 to Existing Industries under Substantial Expansion were also raised.

Rajesh Jain, Deepak Dhawan, Jatinder Aul Co-Chairman, Virendra Jain Secretary General and other Executive Committee Members of FOIJ were also present at the meeting.  (KNN Bureau)
