Jammu MSMEs discuss issues related to industrial sector with SIDCO

Jammu, Aug 28 (KNN) The Jammu industries raised concerns with the J&K Small Industries Development Corporation (SIDCO) officials during a meeting today about various issues like Land Transfer Cases, MSME schemes, land allotment and more.
 
Amit Sharma (KAS), Managing Director, J&K SIDCO Ltd along with other officials from the department visited the Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) bhavan here today.
 
While welcoming the Managing Director, Lalit Mahajan, President BBIA highlighted the various issues related to the Industrial Sector in Jammu.
 
“Issues regarding the Land Transfer Cases; to make functional the ICD with Rail Link and clearance of goods from Bari Brahmana Industrial complex for free movement at Lakhanpur to reduce the lead time; development of land adjoining to Bund; project report for the up gradation of infrastructure in Phase-I, Phase-II and EPIP Complex under the MSME Scheme with the consultation of the Association; status to acquire 2000 Kanal Land adjoining to EPIP Complex etc were discussed with the J&K SIDCO officials,” said Mahajan.
 
Further, BBIA also discussed cleaning contract for the BBIA Complex; Unauthorized parking of trucks on road side at K C Chowk; illegal parking of trucks in EPIP Complex Coca Cola depot in private land were also discussed, he added.
 
While interacting with the industrialists, Sharma assured to resolve the issues related to the industrial sector on priority basis.
 
The meeting was also attended by Rahul Bansal, Senior Vice President, BBIA; Varun Singla, Vice President, BBIA; Rakesh Bhat, General Secretary, BBIA among others. (KNN Bureau)
