Jammu MSMEs miffed with indifference of administration

Jammu, Oct 3 (KNN) Federation of Industries, Jammu (FOIJ) has raised the issue of J&K UT Administration’s casual attitude towards the problems and needs of the existing industrial units.

MSMEs have expressed that if the problems of the units are not resolved on priority basis they will be forced to close down.

To discuss the callous attitude of the J&K UT Administration towards the local working existing units with the majority of MSMEs a meeting was held on Sunday under the chairmanship of Lalit Mahajan, Chairman FOIJ.

Rajesh Jain, Deepak Dhawan, Jatinder Aul Co-Chairman, Virendra Jain Secretary General, Viraaj Malhotra Convenor and other Executive Committee Members were also present.

Appreciating the efforts of central government, the members raised serious concern that the existing industrial sector is facing hardship and is about to collapse due to withdrawal of Price/Purchase Preference in Government purchases in post UT Regime.

They have also pointed out that representation of stakeholders have been withdrawn while constituting the Boards of the different Corporations relating to the Industries Department in post UT Regime.  (KNN Bureau)
