Jharkhand Startup Policy in the pipeline
Ranchi, Sept 22 (KNN) The new startup policy for the state of Jharkhand is underway and the Board of Directors meeting for Atal Bihari Vajpayee Innovation Lab (ABVIL) is expected to meet next month to finalise changes.
Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh will chair the meeting consisting of 14 people from different departments including IT, Industry and Academia.
The board of directors meeting is likely to happen after the Durga Puja.
Jharkhand’s first Startup Policy that lapsed on 19 September 2021 will be replaced by the new Jharkhand Startup Policy.
IT department is working on resolving queries raised by some departments on the draft policy.
The ABVIL board meeting will check the level of infrastructure built by former partner IIM Ahmedabad and draw up the plans for strengthening the startup ecosystem further.
This time ABVIL will sign a MoU with Jamshedpur-based XLRI School of Management. (KNN Bureau)
