JKSIDCO chief assures to resolve the issues related to the industrial sector

Jammu, Feb 16 (KNN) Jammu and Kashmir State Industrial Development Corporation (JKSIDCO) Managing Director, Kifayat Hussain Rizvi assured to resolve the issues related to the industrial sector on priority basis in the state.

In a recent interaction with the members of industry body Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA), he issued on the spot order to the concerned officials accordingly.

Welcoming the JKSIDCO officials, BBIA General Secretary Lalit Mahajan highlighted various industrial issues including making functional the ICD with rail link and clearance of goods from Bari Brahmana Industrial Complex for free movement at Lakhanpur to reduce the lead time, pending work for the repair of infrastructures under centrally sponsor scheme ending March, 2015 and development of land adjoining to Bund for the flatted factory complex.

He also highlighted issues like project report for the up gradation of infrastructure in Phase-I, Phase-II and EPIP Complex under the MSME scheme with the consultation of the association, status of acquiring 2000 Kanal Land adjoining to EPIP Complex, cleaning contract for the BBIA Complex, unauthorised parking of trucks on road side at KC Chowk and service centre for the washing of trucks working near Sudhir Genset, illegal parking of trucks in EPIP Complex and allotment of land to MSME units adjoining to HP Gas Plant were also discussed.

Other issues regarding land transfer cases for getting NOC from DIC, delegation of power to estate managers, allotment of land for residential colony  of industrial units, alternate approach road from the complex etc. were also discussed in the meeting.

BBIA Vice President Rakesh Bhat and the association’s advisory and executive members were also attended the meeting. (KNN/ST)
