Kalraj Mishra launched Livelihood Business Incubation Centre in Rajkot

New Delhi, Dec 19 (KNN) Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra, while launching the NSIC's Livelihood Business Incubation Centre in Rajkot said the centre is first of its kind for kill development of youths and budding entrepreneurs in the Saurashtra region.
 
Mishra inspected the incubation centre in details. He said Rajkot is the hub for plastic, diesel engine machine, tools, and auto parts in the region. It’s a centre for innovation, he added.

“Commend the initiative of NSIC for establishing centre in this region which has a literacy rate of 82.2% and an enterprising population,” he said.
 
MSME Minister said Rajkot is the 22nd-fastest-growing city in the world and is well known throughout the world for its casting and forging industries.
 
Speaking about the government’s Aspire scheme, the Minister said the objective behind launching the scheme was to create a favorable eco-system for encouraging the start-ups with sustained employment opportunities.
 
He said, “One component of Aspire is to setup Livelihood Biz Incubation Centre &Tech Incubation Centres based on the model of NSIC’s Rapid Incubation programme.”
 
Aspire encourages various Academic Institutions/ Colleges, Industry Associations and NGOs to associate with NSIC to set up such Livelihood Incubation Centres in their premises in order to train the youths to give them the opportunities of self employment. (KNN Bureau)
