Kalraj Mishra to inaugurate 4th edition of MSME DEFEXPO 2015 in B'lore today

Bengaluru, Dec 10 (KNN) Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra is in the state capital today to inaugurate the 4th edition of MSME DEFEXPO 2015.
The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) with the support of Ministry of MSME, Government of India & Government of Karnataka is organizing 4th edition of MSME DEFEXPO 2015. The event is being held from December 10-12, 2015 at White Orchid Convention Center, near Manyata Tech Park in the city.
The event will be dedicated to defence sector by Union Minister of MSME in the presence of SSI Minister Government of Karnataka and senior dignitaries of Government of India and Government of Karnataka.
The MSME DEFEXPO 2015 had been especially crafted in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, and aims at doubling its procurement value to 75% of its indigenous content, through Indian vendors by the next decade.
The event aims at providing companies with the perfect platform to promote their products and services to domestic and international companies across industries like defence, aerospace and homeland security areas.
Besides, the expo also facilitated linkages between MSMEs and large defence equipment producers / suppliers from around the world, with the advantage of the procurement off-setting policies set by Ministry of Defence, Government of India. (KNN Bureau)
