Initiative taken by the Haryana Govt. for Samadhan Divas held at Karnal on 3rd May, 2018 is applaudable. Many issues already raised by different Association like Haryana Chamber of Commerce & Industry (HCCI), Karnal Agricultural Implements Manufacturers Association (KAIMA) and The Karnal HSIIDC Industries Welfare Association (KHIWA) and others were taken up, but resolved either partially or with rider or are still under consideration. KAIMA members are happy with announcement of Farm Machinery Testing Center at Uchani within the Karnal City. HSIIDC Plot holders are happy with abolition of Maintenance charges being recovered by transfer of such activities to Municipal Corporation. However, the demand for additional FAR of HSIIDC plots raised by all Associations including HCCI has been partially met from 150 to 200%, but not acceding to increase in Ground coverage of plots demanded from 60 to 70%, with the result the problem remains in tact. Change in Project category sought by Agricultural Implements Industry has been accepted but with rider of 10% charges of the present allotment rate, which is now 13500/- as against 1800/- per Sqm. allotment rate, so the proposal may not be viable for acceptance by Industry. Big disheartening to HSIIDC Plot holders is no decision on their demand against enhancement cost, for which they pleaded that it should be only for the area as ordered by the Hob'ble Court, whereas the HSIIDC authorities have raised demand notices inclusive of 12.01 acre land, which pertain to Panchayat, State and Central Govt. which is not required to be paid, as there is no claimant, but the HSIIDC want to enrich themselves at the cost of plot holders, by raising the undue demand of additional 12.01 acre land also.
