Bengaluru, July 21 (KNN) The Karnataka government will be focusing on drones in its new aerospace and defence policy to attract investments in drone technology.

For fresh investments draft policy has been proposed in the aerospace and defence sector in Bengaluru as well, as per ET.

Investments only in regions outside of Bengaluru got incentives and concessions in all the recent State policies.

Hence with the modification, the government into aims to include the country’s technology capital as well for incentives.

The industries department has finalised the draft in consultation with other departments and has sought the Cabinet’s approval.

The new policy will recognise the changing dynamics in the sector and align itself with the Aatmanirbhar programme and with the emerging global trends. (KNN Bureau)
