Karnataka industry body to acquire lands for small units

KSSIDC also plans to set up industry clusters for which the state government will approach the Centre for financial support of Rs 25 crore.
These details were given by KSSIDC Managing Director, C Somasekhara during a meeting organised with the Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (Kassia).
The new industrial clusters were identified in Udupi and Dharwad for engineering and in Mangalore for gems and jewellery.
Somasekhara said that the government would approach a consultative approach with small scale businesses to arrive at the right solutions to address their problems. (KNN/GUNJ)
