New Delhi, April 29 (KNN) Industries Minister and Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly Murugesh Nirani has said that the government is ready to offer 75% concession in industrial sites to the economically weaker section (EWS) of society to encourage them to take up entrepreneurship.

The government will support those setting up the businesses by providing training and facilitating loans after they submit project reports. Addressing young minds and aspiring entrepreneurs, the Minister said one need not work under someone else, but may set up a business, thereby creating jobs for others if they do not give up quickly.

The Minister said, “The government has brought in changes in industrial policy to promote local business”. On the occasion, Nirani claimed that Karnataka has attracted the highest foreign direct investment than any other Indian states for the second successive quarter. (KNN Bureau)
