Karnataka Power Corp cancels power transmission scheme; to seek rebids

Bengaluru, Nov 29 (KNN)  The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (KPTCL) has cancelled its call for bids to construct power lines in Yelahanka, Singanaya Kanahally and Yaramarus Guttur, owing to changes in scheme and scope of work.
 
However, superintendent engineer, KPTCL, Prabhakar said they would recall those tenders again shortly.

"The scheme has change as also the scope of work so we had to cancel the tender.  However, we will be calling for bids again soon," Prabhakar told KNN.
 
Work that had to be carried out as per the earlier tender included – construction of 220 kV and 66 kV lines on turnkey basis in and around Yelahanka; construction of 220 kV lines in Singanaya Kanahally; and construction of 400 kV DC, QUAD Moose ACSR line in Yaramarus Guttur. (KNN/ES)
