Karnataka Skill Council with UNDP and SAP provide grant to 15 startups

Bengaluru, Aug 16 (KNN) The Karnataka Skill Development Council (KSDC), in association with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) India and SAP Labs India, awarded 15 young entrepreneurs with a grant of up to Rs 1 lakh to help them scale up their startups.

The 15 entrepreneurs were selected based on their performance in UNDP’s Entrepreneurship Development Programme.

Along with the seed money, the selected startups will also be provided with mentorship and handholding support for a period of six months.

As per reports, more than 3,000 youth applied to the call for applications for the Youth Innovation Challenge. 

KSDM has earlier this month received a green signal fr0m the state government to launch the Karnataka skill connect portal (KSCP) with the aim to provide a unified platform for academic institutions, various skilling agencies, potential workforce, and potential employers.  (KNN Bureau)
