PM Modi to lay foundation stone for infra projects worth Rs 16,000 cr in Karnataka on March 12
Bengaluru, Mar 10 (KNN) Prime Minister Narendra Modi to dedicate and lay the foundation stones for infrastructure projects worth Rs 16,000 crores in Karnataka on March 12.
PM Modi will also dedicate the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway to the nation.
The project involves 6-laning of the Bengaluru-Nidaghatta-Mysuru section of NH-275. The 118 Km long project has been developed at a total cost of around Rs 8,480 crores, an official statement said.
Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for Mysuru-Khushalnagar 4 lane highway.
During his visit, PM Modi will also dedicate IIT Dharwad to the nation.
The campus has been built at the cost of Rs 850 crores According to the official statement, the longest railway platform in the world at Sri Siddharoodha Swamiji Hubballi Station will also be initiated.
The foundation stone for Jayadeva Hospital and Research Centre, Tupparihalla Flood Damage Control Project and for various projects of Hubballi-Dharwad smart city will also be laid down.
PM will also dedicate the electrification of Hosapete – Hubballi – Tinaighat section and the upgradation of Hosapete station, for boosting connectivity in the region. (KNN Bureau)
