Bengaluru, June 26 (KNN) Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) on Sunday elected CA Shashidhara Shetty as its new President along with a new team of office bearers.

Shetty is the Managing Director of Protech Engineering Private Ltd, a well-known company manufacturing automobile service equipment.

He also served as President of Rotary Bangalore Udyog and was the Past Assistant Governor at Rotary District 3190 and Director, KASSIA Credit Cooperative Society.

On taking charge, he said his top most priority is to complete the KASSIA Centre of Excellence & Innovation Project at Dobbaspet.

“It will help in promoting the products and provide skilled employees to micro and small scale enterprises,” he said.

He also appealed to the MSMEs of Karnataka to approach KASSIA for any of their grievances which would be taken up with the government and other stakeholders as applicable for redressal.

The other office bearers who took charge at KASSIA are, M.G. Rajagopal as Vice-President, S. Nagaraju as General Secretary and K. Mallesh Gowda as Treasurer.  (KNN Bureau)
