New Delhi, April 20 (KNN) Kerala Academy of Skills Excellence (KASE), the apex body under the government of Kerala for facilitating and coordinating all skill development initiatives in the state, is entering into a new partnership with four leading German organisations to ensure that the world's best technical training is made available for job aspirants in Kerala.

This would be for the first time in India that a state government is entering into a partnership with SES, a non-profit foundation of the German industry for
International Cooperation.

The global industrial giants FESTO, Siemens and TUV Rheinland and Senior Experten Service (SES) will implement their internationally acknowledged training models in the state as part of its International Skill Training and Employability Scheme (iSTEP).

The partnership is in sync with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent three-day visit to Germany where he pitched for the government's "Make in India" initiative.

A MoU is expected to be signed between KASE and the SES Project Coordinator in Asia, in the presence of Kerala Minister for Labour and Skills Shibu Baby John and the Bengaluru-based German Consul General Jorn Rohde.

This would be followed by thematic presentations by the top officials of these German companies. (KNN/SS)
