KASSIA elects new team for the year 2017-18

New Delhi, July 10 (KNN) The Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) recently held an election to elect its new team of office bearers.

In the 67^th General body meeting, R. Hanumanthe Gowda was elected as president of the industry body.

Also Basavaraj S. Javali was elected as Vice President, Umashankar assumed the office as Hon. Secretary. Also Latha Girish and Manjunath were given the responsibility of Joint Secretaries; K.N. Narashimhamurthy will be serving as Hon. Treasurer.

Manjunath, treasurer of Mysore Industries Association and Managing Director of Vima Rubbers has been elected as Joint Secretary along with Mysore Industries Association General Secretary N Sathish.

General Secretary Suresh Kumar Jain of Hebbal Industrialist Estate Manufacturers Association President Jayanth N.H and Mysore District Small Scale Industries Association Hon. Secretary, Subramanian were chosen as council members for the year 2017-18.

Speaking at the meeting, Vasu, President of Mysore Industries Association congratulated the newly elected team of KASSIA. He also appealed to keep up with the focussed approach towards the industrial development in the state. (KNN/ DA)
