KASSIA to organize SME CEO Knowledge forum in Bangalore to equip industry

Bengaluru, Sept 21 (KNN)  Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) is organizing the second edition of the SME CEO Knowledge Forum Series here on September-26, as part of an awareness programme for SMEs and also to give them a competitive edge in the global market.

The Hindu Business Line, jointly with UTI Mutual Fund, SIDBI and KPMG, is conducting the series of seminars across India.

The programme will start with a one-to-one mentoring session where different aspects of SMEs will be highlighted and will facilitate direct interaction between upcoming entrepreneurs and industry experts.

The session will also see participation of KPMG, UTI Mutual Fund, Marketing consultant from Alliance University and an HR consultant.

There will also be a session on taxation by KPMG aimed at educating entrepreneurs on taxation. This will be followed by a series of lectures by speakers from SIDBI, UTI Mutual Fund, KPMG and Crisil.

The session on taxation aims to educate entrepreneurs about honest as well as effective ways of taxation which can save the business large copious of vital financial resources.

The forum will also provide an opportunity for SME’s to interact with experts on issues like investment, enterprise solutions, credit rating, finance and other related issues. (KNN/SD)
