Kerala govt proposes extension of Bangalore-Kochi Industrial corridor to Thiruvananthapuram
Kochi, June 7 (KNN) Industries Minister of Kerala P. Rajeev has requested Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry to extend the Bangalore-Kochi Industrial corridor to Thiruvananthapuram, during a conference held on Tuesday in Kochi.
Speaking at the Investors Round Table Conference organized by National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDC) Minister Rajvee spoke about the aim to establish one lakh enterprises in a year.
Addressing the conference, Commerce Minister Goyal urged investors to make use of the natural advantages of the state of Kerala for establishing industries.
He further said that the world will emulate the example of PM Gati Shakti in the coming years.
Calling it a game changer, the Minister suggested that people who want to set up industrial units utilise the initiative.
Rajendra Ratnoo, Joint Secretary, DPIIT, Santhosh Koshy Thomas, MD, KINFRA, Suman Billa, Principal Secretary, Government of Kerala, Abhishek Chowdary, Vice President, NICDC also spoke on the occasion. (KNN Bureau)
