Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony between the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) and Synthite Ltd he gave this information.

The Minister said risk fund would help industrial houses to translate the recent outputs in research at academic institutions into  commercial production processes.

“This fund will be utilised for the capital investment in the special purpose vehicles jointly formed by universities and industry for  translating technology into commercial products,” he said.

Calling tie-up between Cusat and Synthite Ltd. as a historical moment for Kerala, he said it’s a path-breaking moment, not only in the higher education sector but in the industrial sector also.  (KNN Bureau)
