Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 10 (KNN) Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has recently stated that Kerala is the most investment-friendly state in India, attributing this achievement to the ruling CPI(M)'s vision and policies.

Speaking at a public meeting during the four-day CPI(M) state conference, Vijayan emphasised the importance of resource mobilisation for Kerala's development while addressing concerns about the party's approach to investment.

"We welcome any capital that does not harm the interests of the country. However, we will not accept investments with conditions that are harmful to our interests," Vijayan clarified.

He pointed to the recent Invest Kerala Global Summit as evidence of the state's growing appeal to investors, noting that investments exceeding Rs 1.75 lakh crore had been secured.

The Chief Minister highlighted that these investments would create significant employment opportunities for Kerala's youth.

He mentioned that systems are being implemented to enhance the skill levels of students pursuing higher education, preparing them to actively participate in the workforce rather than ‘merely waiting for jobs.’
